As we begin a new week I would like to invite all of us to take some time to meditate on the following truth that is still affecting all of us today. Perhaps ask God to open your eyes to see how this is showing up in your life and what He has to say that will counter the lies you have been led to believe because of it.
Many and I mean many years ago when Adam covered himself he also covered the life and light that originated from within his heart. This covering brought obscurity into his life as he began to look for the light outside of himself through how well he managed to get it right. If he did then he felt light and affirmation. If he didn’t then he returned to the shadows he so desperately wanted to shed but did not understand how.
With this in mind I would like to encourage all of us today to stop striving to leave the shadows of obscurity in a hurry in the name of success or accomplishment. When we make it about reaching and getting something or somewhere we are actually aiming to get further away from the place from within where we already have everything we don’t outside. I am coming to understand as hard it is that the shadows of obscurity is one of the best places to discover how bright the light within us really is.
Remember always that the only effective way to expose how illusional and fraudulent the light of our accomplishments is, is by overshadowing it with the one true light (The King and Kingdom) we will discover within us.
