I hope everyone of you is having a good summer and you are enjoying some beautiful weather and moments alongside those that you love and care about.
My summer has been great so far. Amongst other things I had the privilege to see my son Jake get married in South Africa to a beautiful girl called Marsha. I became a grand father for the first time as my first daughter Vanessa gave birth to a gorgeous baby girl called Isabella Grace. As a family we went on holiday to the Dead Sea and my first book Holding on Loosely has now been published in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria under the name of Match Ball.
As you can see it has been a really eventful few months in my life. At the end of July I decided to take a break from blogging to reflect and consider with God what would be the best way forward as I began one again sharing with all of you through The Zone Project.
As many of you know to me, and I believe also to God, is most important that I share my heart and not just my clever thoughts. This means that what I post is stuff that surfaces from within me. This as I am sure you can imagine is not something that I can control or often choose when and where the God of my heart decides to speak to me. Some of the times I see something and an entire blog unfolds within me which I then share. Other times I only get a line or two and up until now I have kept those behind as I felt that it was not appropriate to share only a one liner. Well after much consideration this is now going to change.
You see often for many of us is that one word or a few put together that touches a deep place within us and suddenly there is a shift forward in our lives. Also not all of us have the time to sit down and read an entire blog and so with this in mind I have decided to share from time to time quick snippets of revelation that God gives me. These will come in the form of one liners and sometimes a few lines put together or perhaps two separate quotes which address the same space of revelation.
I am excited about this as I have tons of material that I have written down over the years which I know will bless many of you and it makes me smile that you guys will be the first ones to see it as it exits from within the bolt of my life.
Finally, this past year the amount of people that have read and shared the blog has grown substantially and this of course is down to you sharing it out with others. So I would like to once again please ask that you continue sharing the blogs with others through your social media as well as any forum or group you may be a part of.
