Thank you that you created such a thing called a day. Something that has a beginning and an end so we could rest and play all over again. Thank you that in your eyes today is not the continuation of yesterday but a brand new day. Thank you that what happened yesterday is gone forever and that today it can be a brand new start. A brand new day. Thank you that you have forgiven what I did yesterday that wasn’t up to the so called standard.
Thank you that you made up the huge difference I could not even if I tried. Thank you that your mercies are new every morning and that you have an endless supply of them. Thank you that you don’t distribute today according to yesterday but that you are as generous as you were yesterday and will be as generous tomorrow as you are today.
Thank you that unlike me you are consistent every day from beginning to end. I don’t deserve to have it all over again every day. I don’t deserve to be loved after what I do, think, and say all over again every day. But I am and you see to it that I do and all because you can. I realize that you are truly out of this world like the love, grace, and mercy that you extend.
No wonder Jesus said to repent for the Kingdom of Heaven was at hand so we could see that this is a new way just like today is a new day. Thank you Dad because I can be sure and know that you will never go away!
