You say that you love me unconditionally.
You say that you made me in your image and gave me your likeness and nature.
You say that you prefer love to sacrifice.
You say that you will never leave me nor will you forsake me.
You say that you are very quick to love and very slow to get angry.
You say that before the beginning of time you knew me.
You say that you are in all and all is in you.
You say that you gave your life for me so that I might wake up to see who I really am in you.
You say that you are committed to my life like not even a mother is committed to her new born.
You say that you and I are one.
You say that you have chosen to put yourself within me.
You say that your Kingdom is within me and is here now in every moment.
You say greater love has no one that gives up his life for his friends.
You call me your friend.
You call me your son.
You call me your lover.
You say that you and I are not and have never been separated.
You say you came to show us how life begins and not how it finishes.
Yet there are many out there that say that you will only join me and be part of my life if I put my hand up, pray a prayer they make up, and follow the rules so I can make it into heaven otherwise I am lost forever and you, the one that said all of the above and more, will watch me from a distance.
Am I missing something here…Dad?
