When God rests he does it out of the understanding that everything is complete and nothing more needs to be done. Most of us rest because we have become exhausted from trying to make sure it is finished and complete.
Yes I know we have deadlines, we have bills, we have things to do, places to go, and people to see. Yet despite these we need to understand that the problem does not lie in all of our doing as much as it does in what drives us to do as much as we think we need to do.
Consider today that stillness and peace begins from within and is therefore internal – not external.
